Legal Document Preparation

Although mediation provides comprehensive guidance through your divorce, you may choose to engage additional professionals. These services are arranged and paid separately but can be integrated into the mediation process.

Additional Professionals

Outside Experts

Certain cases benefit from outside experts —business valuations, forensic accounting, real estate appraisals, or other specialized analysis. If experts are needed, we'll provide referrals. Expert fees are paid separately.

Independent Attorney Review

You're encouraged to have your own attorney review your agreements before signing them. Independent legal counsel is separate but can work alongside the mediation process.

QDRO Preparation

Dividing retirement accounts requires a Qualified Domestic Relations Order (QDRO) prepared by a specialist. QDRO preparation is handled separately from mediation, and I'll provide referrals to qualified professionals.
